Roger Brown

Roger Brown is a seasoned educational leader and community advocate with more than two decades of experience supporting children, families, and schools across Central Florida and beyond.


He began his career as a teacher in Central Florida and grew into roles as a Curriculum Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal, experiences that shaped his strong belief in inclusive education and the power of connected school communities.


Roger holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Stetson University and a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. His passion for creating equitable and accessible learning environments led him to UCP of Central Florida, where he served as the Founding Principal of UCP Bailes Community Academy and built a school culture centered on belonging, innovation, and inclusive practices for students of all abilities. Throughout his career Roger has been recognized for his transformational and collaborative leadership. He is committed to inspiring teams, strengthening systems, and working closely with communities to ensure children and families receive the support they need to succeed. Most recently he served as a District School Leader with Bezos Academy Foundation, where he oversaw school leaders across multiple states, guided the development and expansion of high-quality early learning programs, and collaborated with community partners to advance meaningful impact for children and families.


Roger is thrilled to return to UCP of Central Florida as the Vice President of Development and Philanthropy. He brings a deep commitment to equity, community partnership, and sustainable growth. He is energized by the opportunity to expand philanthropic support and strengthen engagement across Central Florida. Roger looks forward to helping ensure every child and family served by UCP has the resources needed to grow and achieve their potential.
