Roger Brown

Vice President of Development and Philanthropy


Roger Brown is an experienced educational leader and community advocate with more than two decades of service to children, families, and schools across Central Florida and beyond.


He began his career as a teacher and advanced into roles as a Curriculum Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal, shaping his strong belief in inclusive education and connected school communities.



Roger holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from Stetson University and a bachelor’s degree from Rhode Island College. His commitment to equitable and accessible learning led him to UCP of Central Florida, where he served as the Founding Principal of UCP Bailes Community Academy and helped build a culture of belonging, innovation, and inclusion. Most recently, Roger served as a District School Leader with Bezos Academy Foundation, overseeing school leaders across multiple states and supporting the expansion of high-quality early learning programs.


He is excited to return to UCP as the Vice President of Development and Philanthropy and is committed to strengthening philanthropic support across Central Florida to help ensure every child and family has the resources needed to grow and achieve their potential.
