OUR THERAPY IMPACT - KAMILA'S STORY

After Hurricane Maria blew through Puerto Rico, Kamila lost access to her therapy services. Looking for another opportunity to get Kamila the services she needed, her family relocated to Central Florida to attend UCP. Today, Kamila is a student at our UCP Osceola campus and is enrolled in physical, occupational, and speech therapy programs. Her favorite thing about UCP is going to the playground with her friends.

We serve thousands of children across 8 campuses, including locations in Downtown Orlando, East Orlando, Kissimmee, Pine Hills, Lake Mary, and Winter Garden.

​Our UCP Charter Schools and UCP Outpatient Clinics have over 100 therapy team members & contractors. We utilize educational relevant therapy as a part of a student’s overall Individual Education Plan, or IEP. UCP Outpatient Clinics serve patients from birth to 21 and are located at the same campuses, which allows us to offer a medical model of therapy for clients that need additional services and support all at one convenient location.

Our therapists work collaboratively with teachers and classroom staff to provide impactful, inclusive experiences for students through individual, group, and in-classroom sessions.
