Mellissa Killian,  leads a comprehensive, people-centered HR strategy that supports 800 + team members across multiple campuses and programs. With more than 20 years of progressive human resources experience, Mellissa plays a pivotal role in strengthening organizational culture, ensuring compliance, and developing systems that allow employees to thrive.

Her leadership guides all areas of HR operations, including benefits administration, employee relations, training and development, talent management, safety and loss prevention, and risk mitigation.

Mellissa holds multiple professional certifications in human resources, bringing a strong foundation of expertise in employment law, organizational development, and workforce strategy.

Prior to joining UCP, she worked extensively across diverse HR environments, shaping her commitment to creating inclusive, supportive, and high-performing workplaces.
