Director of Assessment and Accountability

Kim Santana serves as the Director of Assessment and Accountability for UCP of Central Florida, a role she has held since 2022. In this role, she leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of assessment systems and accountability measures across UCP’s network of charter schools.
Kim oversees data collection and analysis, supports instructional decision-making, and collaborates with school leaders to strengthen academic outcomes and ensure compliance with state and federal standards. Her work plays a critical role in shaping UCP’s commitment to high-quality education for students of all abilities.
She brings more than 30 years of experience in Central Florida’s public education system, where she worked as a teacher, technology coordinator, assistant principal, and principal.
Kim holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, both from the University of Central Florida. Her deep instructional expertise and leadership background inform her commitment to advancing data-driven practices, supporting school improvement, and enhancing student outcomes across UCP’s charter schools that promote equitable access, high expectations, and meaningful learning experiences for all students.
