How It Works

This is a fully virtual, beginner-friendly Texas Hold’em poker tournament. No software or download required—just a browser and your competitive spirit!

Event Details:

• Date: Thursday, September 18th

• Time: 7:00 PM ET

• Duration: 1.5 - 2 hours

• Late Registration: Open for the first ~45 minutes of the tournament

• Starting Stack: 5,000 chips

• Where: Online – game access link will be shared via email before the tournament along with helpful registration instructions! No apps or programs are needed, you'll play via your devices web browser.

Never played poker before? No worries — the platform includes a built-in hand helper. We'll also share a hand rankings guide before the tournament!

What’s a Re-entry? If you lose all your chips during the re-entry period (first 45 minutes of play), you can buy back into the tournament in the form of a $35 donation.

What’s an Add-on? When the re-entry period ends, every player has the option to purchase a chip add-on to increase their stack heading into the final stages, available after re-entry period ends for a $25 Donation

Are there prizes? Every attendee receives one Chance to Win ticket with their entry donation. Additional Chances to Win can be purchased during registration as well as during the tournament. Participants who make it to the final table will receive additional Chances to Win. After the event concludes, UCP will draw prizes and inform the winners.
