Programmer / Developer

Job Specifications:  (Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required)

  • Comprehensive understanding of the VBScript programming language.
  • Extensive knowledge of Object oriented programming concepts, VBScript, PHP &
    MySQL / MSSQL (without the support of an HTML WYSIWYG editor), JavaScript,            CSS, Sendmail, Sessions, Background Processes, Resources Allocation and Apache and ISS along with solid experience
  • Advanced understanding of the PG. 
  • Good understanding of object oriented programming and programming principles.
  • Advanced understanding of the PHP programming language, HTML.
  • Cascading Style Sheets and JavaScript.
  • Advanced knowledge of Web protocols and programming requirments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows.
  • Advanced understanding of MySOL/MSSQL database (developer fundamentals).
  • Advanced understanding of the PHP programming language, HTML, Cascading
    style sheets and JavaScript Advanced knowledge of Web protocols and            programming requirments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Clustering Environment a Plus
  • MSSQL database (developer fundamentals).
  • Knowledge of PERL and CGI protocols a plus
  • Server Clustering Environment a Plus
  • Experience with Raintree billing platform desired but not necessary
  • Experience in building VBScript, PHP & MySQL / MSSQL 
  • Accounting principles understanding helpful

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent programming experience
  • Minimum experience 1 to 3 years

Job Responsibilities:

  • To plan, research, develop logic, code, test and deploy several Billing Module projects with minimal assistance.  
  • Development & Maintenance billing system (Raintree) and web applications, as
    well as maintaining the current website.
  • Custom application or new module specifications.
  • Develop internal Web portal.
  • Supports internal and external networks. Maintains all systems,
      applications, security, and network configurations. 
  • Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs
    patches, and resolves software related problems. 
  • Provides technical support and guidance to local and remote users. Performs
    system backups and recovery.
  • Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the
    information technology field. 
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of
    the job. 
  • Ensuring quality of work through development and implantation of QA procedures
    and standards.
  • Accurately and regularly completing time- sheets
  • Working with teams to educate project managers about programming solutions
  • Educating and at times, coordinating, contract developers
  • Willingness to lead in a structured team environment – we encourage the
    individual and reward the success of the team.
  • Experience with building highly interactive, highly trafficked, database driven
    billing systems and web applications.
  • Accurately outlining work task breakdowns for programming side of new projects.
  • Accurately estimating periods for work completion and accomplishing them.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
