Imagine a world where a child with visual impairments molds the solar system out of clay,
while his classmate labels each planet.
Imagine a world where the child in a wheelchair who sat next to you in kindergarten,
now sits across from you at work.
Imagine a world where all children learn, play, and grow together—without limitations.
At UCP of Central Florida, our goal for the new East Orange/Bailes Campus is to create a fully inclusive community where there are no limits, just life, for all children, no matter their abilities.
Offering support, Pre-K through third grade education, and therapy for children up to age 21, the new research-based campus will be one of the only schools in the nation that focuses on arts, technology, and full inclusion. It’s the new vision for education that mirrors society in bringing together people and ideas that was separated before.
The new 30,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility will open in August 2009 and will be located in Central Florida Research Park, adjacent to the University of Central Florida. Over half of the $9.2 million costs for the land, facility, furniture, equipment, and endowment have already been raised.
As we move toward our vision of establishing proven and promising practices for early intervention education, we invite you to join us on our journey of creating no limits, just life for all people.
Stop imagining. Together, we can achieve this now!
